Professional Examinations
BCS Professional Examinations are the essential qualifications
for a career in computing and information technology (IT).
Whether you seek greater job recognition, promotion or a
new career direction, you'll find BCS Professional Examinations
are internationally recognized, flexible and suited to the
needs of the IT industry.
Structure
The Examinations have a modular structure, with three levels:
- Certificate (BCS Level 4 Certificate
in IT)
- Diploma (BCS Level 5 Diploma in
IT)
- Professional Graduate Diploma (BCS
Level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma in IT).
At their highest level, the examinations are examined to the
academic level of a UK university honours degree and acknowledge
practical experience and academic ability.
